Adding Outside Cargo Bin

Hi Gang,
Was wondering if anyone has ever added another outside Cargo bin to Motor home? I have a Fleetwood Flair 29M that I can see there is space to add more Outside basement space but wonder if its possible. I also have seen the counterpart Thor Windsport 29m which has 4 more outside compartments than the flair so I would think its possible. Just wondering if it is DIY possible.

Before you take that on, weigh your RV and at least get individual axle weights to make sure that you have the cargo capacity to carry what you would put into those new spaces. That may be the reason that your coach doesn't have the extra storage. Better yet would be to get individual wheel weights. Once you know you have the weight capacity to carry more, you need to go under the RV and figure out how you will support the weight of the storage that you want to add.

Don't confuse the HR and Fleetwood 29m models with the Thor. The Thor are the most poorly designed and built in the industry. HR and Fleetwood are owned by Rev Group and probably the best built gas Class A RVs on the market.

Thanks Guys for the advice. And looking at HR brand it has the exact number of storage bays. I was just looking for another bin to store my lvling pads, water hose and fishing equipment. Nothing too heavy but sounds like there may be reason these are not done by end user.
