Question Adhesive for bullet latches?

Hi everyone,

This is probably an elementary question, but every time I come up against a new issue it seems I have a new question on how to best resolve it.

Last week I noticed that one of the latches on the side of the MH that holds up one of the outside doors had broken. When I took off the old latch the adhesive that was sealing the latch came off with it. I put the new latch on and appears to be pretty flush against the MH such that water can't get in, but I want to similarly seal it like the original latch was.

Is there a specific kind of adhesive/seal that is commonly used here?

Thank you, as always, in advance!

Thanks, Richard. I thought I had responded to this previously, but apparently I hadn't. This worked great. Much appreciated.
