Allegro bus tires

We are in negotiations with an individual owner on a 2016 Allegro Bus 45OP. The unit has 27000 miles.
The unit has original tires.
How close am I if I purchase the unit to buying tires? If it helps the unit been inside garage kept when not in use. Owner has not had any long term stays or long term environmental exposure.
On my last Coach 2005 Phaeton I replaced all 6 with Michelin’s. Is that still the tire of choice.
Hope to be in our new to us before long and communicating with the group.

Tires are only 4+ years old. They still have many years left. Michelin’s recommendation is replace after 10 years. That's what I do.

BTW, I replaced with Bridgestone tires and I have been happy with them.

There are a lot of variables. Check your tires periodically and when cracks start appearing in the sidewalls it is time to replace. Most good quality RV tires can go 7 yrs plus.

Here is a great reference for all RV Tires. It shows pictures of what cracking or checking is acceptable, replacement age recommendations, inflation recommendations and so much more.

I'd say 3-7 years away, depending on that variety of factors others have mentioned. Besides the physical condition of the tires, your personal aversion to the risk of a flat tire or blow-out damage is a major consideration. I know owners who buy new tires at 5 years because the very thought of a blowout terrifies them, while others are comfortable gambling up to 10 years. Or even longer.

What is the date code on the tires? The coach is a '16, the tires could be '15. I replaced eight Michelins at five and a half years....with two other brands, Continental and Toyo.

For comparison; we bought this MH in 2013. The previous owner stored it in his barn for 6 years after poor health prevented him from driving. The tires were dated early 2008. We drove the MH until 2017(Goodyears 9 yrs old) when I replaced the Goodyear RV tires with Sailun truck tires.
I never had cause to doubt those Goodyears, perhaps just lucky?? I always ran them inflated to the pressures on the Federal Tire Placard in the MH.
