Don't worry... NC has its finest out looking for it... I've even heard they gave him an extra bullet...

It's all put away until the 2017 season. Maybe by then the heat will have cooled off a bit.
Sure is a nice looking coach. Wish I could afford something like that!

If what I am being told is correct, this King Aire had a special paint scheme and is 1 of 6. Talk about standing out even more!

My guess is that it is being parted out as we speak. With cars, there is more money for the crooks in stripping the car down to the frame and selling the parts back to re-sale shops of all kinds, it wouldn't surprise me if they started doing this with MH's. Seeing as you can't really hide something that big, either it is a joy ride type of thing, or a "professional" ring who will strip it down. Even a meth head wouldn't steal something that nice to cook meth in, the Cops would spot them in an instant.

Probably some old school homeless guys who know how to handle the thing and figured what the heck, I doubt kids would even have the skills to drive it very far.....haha

Easy to repaint, and in the Charlotte area there are enough warehouses to do it. Put a tag off an old Class C on it, hook up a toad and off to Mexico it goes. US customs won't stop it beyond checking the passport of the driver, and Mexico just wants insurance on it. Which you can buy at the border.

I'd say its been stolen for parts. King Aires are rare, but to most people they are just another big motorhome, so its not going to be spotted too easily.
As a example, there was an Earthroamer stolen (only about 150 made so far in the last 12 or so years) out of a Ford dealer's parking lot. Earthroamers are pretty unique looking, since they're big class-Cs on F-550 chassis, with monster 41" off-road tires. One was stolen, and later recovered after the interior had been gutted of all its high-end electronics.
