Amazing insulated travel cup!

A while back I needed a good insulated cup for my coffee while traveling. I found a cup at Wal-Mart that is simply amazing! I can fill it in the morning and still be sipping warm (not hot) coffee 6 hours later! I think this is it but I didn't think I paid that much for it. That was months ago so I guess it went up!

Contigo Randolph 16 oz Travel Mug - Walmart.com

You folks have given me some great tips and just wanted to pay you back in some small way! Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I received a Contigo Pinnacle as a present last Christmas. Amazing how long coffee stays hot in it. They are a sale item at Costco all of October, get a two pack for $15.99. 16 oz stainless. Very similar to Randolf model, except no handle.

Probably just me but when I drink hot coffee from one of the plastic insulated containers the coffee smells like plastic but I don't have a problem with putting ice and beverage in them.

Bob, this one is stainless steel (or it may be aluminum), not plastic. The only plastic is the lid and handle!

Mine is even better than that one. I just snap my fingers once and my beautiful Co-Pilot jumps up and goes to the back and brews me a fresh cup anytime I want one and hands me the cup with a kiss for good measure. Hour after hour my coffee is always hot. At least that is the way I remember my dream.

Thanks, I'll take a look at them. Obviously the ones I've used have plastic linings.

I can't imagine a cup of coffee lasting 6 hours. Must not be much of a coffee lover.

My son gave me a YETI koozie for fathers day. Independent testing claims that a bottle of beer will remain at the same temperature for up to an hour. That's good to know..... but 10 to 15 minutes is all I need

The way I found out about the 6 hours is when we drive to Birmingham, AL, about 2 hour time, then sit in a doctor's office for 4 hours before driving back!

Joe and Annette,

Thanks for the heads up. Just to add something, Costco has similar but not exactly the same cup but the same brand for 2 cups for $20.

The Costco cups do not have the nice handle. We have been using them for years and love them. Another great feature is they are leak proof. Unfortunately I have lost so many over the last few years. I just can't figure out where they all go!
