Amazing trip/roof damage?

So we just got back from a 18 day trip, visiting 19 states. Some of the best spots we visited were Yellowstone and the South Dakota/Wyoming border. None of it would have been possible without your guys help answering newbie RV questions before we left. We bought our 2017 Coachman class C RV from Camping World in Feb of this year and because of coronavirus, weren't able to take it anywhere until June. They inspected the roof prior to selling it, and then I personally got up and checked all the seals as well. I used a very small amount of lap sealant along some areas of the edges that appeared could be close to separating. Everything was great when we left. Now we are back and there are bubbles or wrinkles in the lining of the roof near the front. It appears one of the sides broke open somehow but we didn't hit anything. There were very strong winds some of the days while we were driving, maybe that damaged it?

1) Can this be reapplied at the front and resealed? Or does the whole roof need to be redone now? The RV only has 26000 miles on it so I can't believe there is this damage already.
2) Looking up online shows replacing a roof costs up to $10-12k. Is it possible to do yourself for cheaper?
3) It raining near the end of the trip really good. Do you think water got under or will we not know until we pull it up?

I'm lost for words right now and really bummed. Any options you can think of or advise is greatly appreciated. We loved our trip in it and want to take more but obviously this needs fixing now. We are no where near paying it off so that is another issue.

Sometimes when we were driving we would see an oncoming RV and the roof was billowing as he was driving. Perhaps that's what yours did. We always wondered what happened afterward. So you're not the only one.

Did they give you a guarantee? Do you have a warranty?

Sorry.... hope it's an easy solution.

Edit: I just did a quick Google on RV roof billowing and this came up:

Yes it can be fixed DIY if you are savvy with methods and tools.
The rubber probably got stretched a bit, but maybe not in the right places.
Yes if it rained, the water got where it's not supposed to go. First step is to examine and dry out whatever got wet. I would take out the ceiling speakers and take a feel of the insulation to see if it's wet. That only applies if you have fiberglass batt insulation. If foam, it's harder.

Look under the rubber to see if the wood is wet. Hold the rubber off the roof with wood to get air underneath to dry it out. Once all is dry, then clean and remount the rubber roof and use eternabond tape to seal the edges. Ensure any punctures are also sealed.

Two quick follow-up questions based off that reply:

1) Can you lift the roof membrane and remount it by stretching it out or would it be better to get a new TPO and redo the entire roof?
2) More wrinkles showed up overnight all along both edges and then further towards the rear. How is that possible if we weren't even driving, it wasn't windy, and it didn't rain?

I did notice in your second picture you have a pretty good crack in the sealant above the awning that needs attention.

You don't need air to get under it for it to billow up. The roof acts like a wing and creates a vacuum pocket above it that causes the billowing.

That looks awful, was it like that when you picked it up?
It looks like all the glue has failed.....

No it wasn't like that when we got it. It was extremely windy on some days of our trip (30-40mph gusts) and then add in driving 65-70mph. I'd be fine redoing the whole roof ourselves but it sounds like maybe that isn't necessary. If we lift the front area and stretch it again after using eternabond tape on the seams and a good adhesive, how long would that hold? Any suggestions on a good adhesive to use?

It almost appears to be gas pockets. They may have not let the glue flash off long enough before they installed the roof. When you checked the roof was it cold out? A lot of times when it is cold the membrane shrinks and the wrinkle don't show but as soon as the weather gets warm it is wrinkled everywhere. If you look at the pictures you can see that the area's around the wrinkles are still adhered to the substrate.
