I can't believe it. Do some people not read everything through. Roadfrog was making a tongue in cheek effort to inject some humor. Did you not read the Take Care Everyone at the end of his post. REALLY!

Another one who doesn't know that J/K means Just Kidding.

Unfortunately, there are people in the US that actually would be offended by the flag.

I was in Oklahoma City during the Murrah building bombing. The outpouring of love, help and concern from all over the world was one of the things that helped the city and it's people survive this tragedy. The same happened when the EF-5 tornado wiped out parts of Moore, OK just south of OKC.

I've heard it said that you can measure the character of others best when they are facing adversity. Americans, and the few Canadians I know, have never failed to make me proud.

A good reminder that acronyms (like "J/K") are not always well known throughout the forum. I know there is a posting in another thread that has a list of many of the acronyms that folks use in this forum, but is it really hard to spell out while you are typing (like using "DW", instead of simply saying "Wife"?)

Several times, I find myself wondering what someone means when they use an acronym. And I even work for the government (I/T, PTD and S/A). Bugs me there, too!

At the risk of being naive or even simple minded I took the post as heartwarming.

That is after a natural disaster people helped each other.

As for The Flag, well most of us who live here in this country are Americans. At one time flying The Flag was meant as uplifting. After 9/11 many flew The Flag. Is a natural disaster any less than a terrorist attack?

I better go put the soap box away for a while...

If I took your Humor the wrong way -- I apologize ! I'm not beyond that .
We seem to be a little touchy down here about our Flag comments with all of the issues in the world today !

Camping world has a long way to go to show they care about anything but their bottom line.

My opinion, yours may vary.
