It's already been for sale on ebay with all of the water propulsion equipment removed and it was no longer water capable. It was for sale for a long time and I never saw what eventually happened with it.

Yeah, pretty cool. I have to wonder what the corrosion control expenses would be for playing in the water.

Maybe so, but just the fact they were able to make it work for even a short time is a feat in itself!! Sheesh!

Yes it was really cool and looked fun in the water. I remember in the 60's they made a car that could be driven in the water.

I was at the California RV Show in Pomona the year that they introduced their very first model. They had it on display and I was able to walk through it.
Based on the YouTube video, they have changed it somewhat. The first model had a fold-down rear patio deck versus what they have now. Or maybe the deck is an option. I've attached a photo of their older version with the deck.
I also want to point out that all of the videos that I have ever seen with the Terra Wind in the water there is always no significant wave action. I think the only bodies of water it can be used in have to be quite calm.
Back then it listed at over $800,000. Not sure what they sell for now.
Personally, I would much rather have this Panther vehicle as my TOAD than to have the Terra Wind RV. It is similar to the Hydra Spyder that the Terra Wind company sells.

The same company makes an Amphibious sports car, built from what appears to be a Corvette. It too is on the Terra Wind website.
