Another newbie question
Just picked up my RV today, 24-foot Dynamax. Starting to buy things for it and wondering if any other RV the short roof only RV covers? Also does anybody use cast iron pans? I have a paranoia about Teflon.

Cast Iron is heavy enough to really damage something if it knocks a cabinet door open so store it low and make sure it is extra secure.

Cast iron is the only thing we cook with other than the DW's instant pot! She loves it and I love the food...
Happy camping!

We travel with all of our cast iron pans, lids, Dutch ovens and various cast iron do-dads.
She even has a cast iron spoon holder on the kitchen counter.

We use a standard Class C cover for our length B+ and it works fine. Cast iron? 2 iron skillets - both old enough to count as genuine antiques! Dutch ovens go also when we opt to spend time in camp cooking. ST

deathoncall, We feel the same (teflon) way. We carry some cast iron, but also stainless. Much lighter, works well with tomato sauces, ect. But is a little harder to clean. memtb

We would love to go to cast iron but worried about the weight. So till a bigger rig we will have to put that one on hold.

I have cast iron skillets of varous sized and carried it when we had the class C as well. Never a problem. We use them all the time.

Cast iron. The only way to travel. Once you get use to them ( a little heavy) the reason they work so well. Go to Walmart in their rv auto section. Or sport hunting section. Buy a combo cooker made by lodge. You will love it. Dusty
