Any detailers out there (auto)

Sooo, got a new car. Put a coat of wax on it but after running my hand over it can see that I should have definitely clay bared it first. Currently while smoother after the wax still leaves a bit to be desired.

Have always used Mothers detail spray for lubricant when using clay bar.
Got to wondering if the detail spray with cleaner would work or add anything to the process?

Would the cleaner add anything to the clay baring or just not do it and stay with the regular detail spray?

Any suggestions or comments??

The clay bar does all the cleaning. You can use soapy water, or detailers spray for a lubricant.
