Anyone have experience with Shop 4 Seats

They look great. They are priced great. BUT, how do they hold up? They don't have a showroom nor is there a brick and mortar that carries them so no testing them out before buying?

Rec Pro looked great and has good prices but they don't last.

So anyone out there had Shop 4 Seats for any length of time and can comment?

Thanks

If you look at their reviews , it is either 4 stars or 1 star. Very good seats but terrible on the customer service end.

We bought 2 captains chairs for our previous class A in Dec 2017. The said a month for delivery and they were right on time. Stitching was near perfect, seats were comfortable, power recline worked perfectly. Just one problem the left armrest on the passenger seat was up by 15 degrees in the down position. I called them up and they said a tech would call me. A week went by and no call. I called again and this time I was told to box it back up and they would have Fedex pick it up two days later. FedEX never showed. I call again and was told there was nothing they could do. So I called Discover card and they did a charge back.

S4S tried to dance around with Discover saying there was nothing wrong with the seat. Discover asked for pictures, I sent several pictures and a video. In the mean time I removed the arm rest and found the problem. The socket that holds the armrest on was welded on incorrectly. All that it really needed was a few minutes
with a Dremel to remove some of the material from the stop and it would set level with the opposite arm rest.
A week later S4S calls me and wants to arrange the shipping of the seat back to them. I told them I could have the seat fixed locally for $400. They agreed to that and after I gave the ok to Discover, Discover paid them the orginal invoice minus the $400.
I fixed the seat in about 10 minutes . We had those seats over 6 years and 50K miles with zero complaints beyond the arm rest. When we sold it back in January the seats still looked new.

BTW they are a brick and mortar and make the seats in their factory. They have 3 or 4 diffrent brands.

I bought 2 captain chairs four years ago. They get heavy use, but still look almost new. They are holding up very well. I found their service to be spot on.

I despise the captain's seats in my 2022 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40IP. I simply can't get comfortable in them. Whoever designed them, never sat in them for 4 hours.

I have looked at Shop 4 Seats and what they offer, but I can't purchase a seat that I can't try out first.

Hello, bought a sofa and dinette from them 3 years ago. Absolutely no complaints and I bought the 4year extended warranty when I purchased the sofa bed and dinette. I opted for the high end upholstery which I believe at the time was the leatherette 2. Don't hold me to that but it was the better material. Absolutely no wear on anything, I like it so much that I ordered the material from them to have my front seats recovered as well. I had the dreaded peeling, but no more, shop4seats did me well. good luck

Got De Leon captain’s chairs from Shop4Seats earlier this year after sitting in them in the showroom. 2 issues. The first delivery was so moldy they had to be replaced. Second, the seats were stiffer than the showroom seats. Maybe we just needed to break them in but found a better rig for us and traded it in with the brand new seats.

Thank you everyone. Some great insight and info from everyone. I'm still on the fence but these replies have definitely helped!

PS Didn't know about their showroom - gonna have to share that with my brother.

So far so good

Bought double Monument recliners with a center console about 1 1/2 years ago. So far very impressed with them. Delivered on time with no problems. My wife wanted a center console that folded flat and these were the only ones that fit that requirement except Brad and Hall and they had a very long lead time.

I had the only negative experience of the replies posted. I was very satisfied with the overall quality and would likely buy from them again.
If you go with them, just make sure you pay with a credit card so you have leverage if there is an issue.

We bought or chairs and double recliner from Brad & Hall. They have a showroom where you can look at their chairs and sit in them before you buy. They will install and get rid of your old stuff.

We replaced the captains chairs in our 2016 Bay Star in 2020. That was shortly after we purchased it used. Seats easy to install and were in it when we traded January 2024 after 28000 miles of use. still in excellent shape.
