Anyone have some cheese please???

I need to have a w(h)ine.

Why, why why would someone pay a hundred and two THOUSAND DOLLARS for a beautiful top of the line showroom floor new motor home, drive it at least 37k miles probably a little more (unknown due to non functioning speedo and fuel gauge), and then freaking park it and let it all but sit and rot away:confu sed:
I've got my new to me old girl in the shop and the brake lines literally crumbled between his fingers from age and rot!!
I understand life knocks you around here and there and things come up and you can't just go galavantin down the road but to park something away forever just ought to be a crime.
Ok, the wahhhmbulance is here, away I go.

$102,000 is a LONG ways from being a top of the line Motor Home.

Now, if's it's 1985 model then maybe it was top of the line back then.

This probably happens a lot with cars, trucks and RV's. Hopefully you got a good deal on it and can make it like new again.

That's an easy one, I'm sorry to say. Lost a spouse and the survivor couldn't stand to use it or sell it.

That actually was her (the seller) story. But for whatever reason, it was in a family members name and signed over to her (I guess) way later on when they decided she could sell it since she wasn't going to lose her home after all.
I personally feel good about having bought it because face it, things were built better "back then" and workers took pride and weren't always checking their fugging facial books.
Earlier at the car shop, we found that brakes had to be first and foremost which obviously anything is going to need. Providing I can get past that possibly huge issue wherein hoses for that year might not be easy to find, then I just might manage to take a deep breath and "think" it'll all be ok in the long run.
Also fairly comfortable that the car care owner really just might be one of those rare ones and shoot it to me straight. He kept trying to be a negative Nelly but I would shush him and tell him NO, don't say it.

Because it is MUCH easier to stick your head in the sand and do NOTHING, than it is to do SOMETHING.

She may be depressed, be unable or unwilling to hake decisions, or "afraid" to do the wrong thing.

If the brake hoses are no longer available, it is very likely that a shop that makes hydraulic equipment hoses can "custom fabricate" hoses for you.

That's what car care guy said. He kept trying to be danny downer and I wouldn't hear it and his mechanic was outside and found the front drivers side wheel barely movable by the hand as it apparently should be and they had already deduced the sway bar and stabilizer to eventually be of need.
I told the guy to just build a list and then between us, we would all decide on have to have's and can waits.
Then I arrive at work tonight to be told my guarantee (long story) is no longer available and we already lost another good money making part of the job last week so I might very well get to finish paying for the brake parts and bring her back home to sit in the driveway.

Well, now you answered your own question! Why would someone buy something and then let it sit in there driveway? Lost a job, lost a spouse, income change, health issues...........you never know when life will throw you a curve ball.
