Anyone have tips on adjusting a "Carefree" awning?

Hi, All
I have a manual patio awning on our new Northern Lite 10-2 EX CD Camper that does not close completely at the "trailing" end.

The pictures below show what happens when it is rolled up: the other end is seated properly but the end you see in the closeup is still almost 2 inches away from being properly closed.

I've tried moving the outboard end bracket of the folding arm slightly (about 1 inch) to no avail.

It really seems like the "unrolling" part of the awning is about one quarter of an inch out of whack "sideways" -- if I push the end in, it hits the "end cap" and won't seat.

No luck getting any information from "carefreeofcolorado.com" yet, so I'm throwing this out to the "experts" 😎

Thanks!

The first thing I would do is roll it back out and make sure the fabric is centered in the casing. Even the electric ones can bind if the material gets to be on on side or the other.
(thats a simple first try)

philippo-

Here is a Web page that may help:

LTV Awning Adjustment

I had a Class C with a similar box awning by a different manufacturer. Smooth closing required careful adjustment of the spring arms, same as shown on the second page of the write-up at the link above.
