After reading back through the thread I noticed that some people mentioned the "flex" on the Crickets. What I do to minimize this is I tighted down the two bolts under the carriage all the way down once the unit is extended.

That's an extra step on set up and on take down because you have to loosen those two bolts you tightened to get the unit to compress.

So far it's been worth it for me to do for the result it gives me. I'm 260 lbs, so you might not experience the "flex" that I would...

I attempted to load a Kangacruz in my Cherokee a few years ago but their wasn't enough height clearance

I put one in my 2017 Grand Cherokee without any problems. The back window is very close to the back of the cart so I use shipping blanket between the back of the cart and the window. I also have had it in a Jeep Wrangler and CRV. If you are talking about the Cherokee and not the Grand Cherokee I did some measuring and I don't think it will fit but I never tried.

Cricket RX5

I just purchased my RX5 about a month ago and am very pleased with the ride and comfort. I've experienced no flexing and everything seems tight even after daily use on regular paved areas as well as forest trails. I was really happy with the complete explanation of operation and maintenance I received upon delivery (which took only 4 days from order to delivery) here in central Florida. I got the 36 volt model which I think is quite adequate.Click image for larger version

I inquired about a used Cricket SX-3 which is a 2016 model. It is in rough shape and they will not not budge from $2800 asking price. The front seat back support is taped up and has scratches on it. Not normal wear and tear condition in my opinion. I declined at the $2800 no budge price. I offered $2000.

Anyone who has had a new one delivered, is it an easy setup off the pallet?

Do you have to be present when delivered?

Most dealers will deliver set up.
Great dealer in Melbourne Fl.
Mobility medical. Also sells vans and wheel chairs
Had great experience with them.
PS. Cash talks big time.

Thanks, when you say most dealers will deliver setup, are you saying the delivery person will take off the pallet and setup the Cricket golf cart?

The cricket website said they would deliver for $450. Cricketminigolfcarts.com

Thanks again, I may give FLORIDA a call also. I have cash. (No financing)
