Anyone using Pilot\FlyingJ app for mobile payment

Anyone use the Pilot\FlyingJ app with a *regular credit card* in it to authorize and pay for fuel in the commercial lanes without going inside?

If so, does it apply the discounts you may have from rewards\discoint cards (e.g. Good Sam) that are also in the app wallet?

If not I'll use the regular RV or auto pumps to save that 8¢ a gallon

I just haven't signed up with that TDS fleet card yet for bigger discounts

I signed up for the TDS card and have been using it from North Carolina to Spokane, although I’ve only found 2 T/A’s on our route so far. And honestly the prices in many of the other places are actually cheaper than the discounts offered from T/A. Kind of disappointed.

I believe you have to tie the card to your bank account routing number not a credit card. It does save you from having to walk inside first to pay if you don’t have their card for use in commercial lane. Regular credit card requires prepay inside with an estimate of how much you want them to turn the pump on for. It automatically refunds the difference once finished pumping.

I believe the original post refers to "regular" credit cards and not TSD.

I use the app with my credit card and it works great in that you don't have to go in and pay.

I haven't seen any discounts applied, though.

I was able to tie my TSD card to the app, but again, not getting anything cheaper at Pilot.

I have never tried using a Visa credit card at the truck pumps in back. Assumed it would not work. Have always used the TDS card. It would be great if someone answers your question. Except KennyG but I don't get what app he is referring to. Would be good to know if it does work.
