AquaHot Using coolant on diesel???

07 Beaver Marquie. Really odd thing, when aqua hot is using diesel power over maybe a months time it will take a gallon of coolant. Doesn't seem to do it when just using electric. Don't think it does it when just running on electric. Can not find any leaks. Got to be going somewhere but dang if I can locate where. Any of you ever heard of this problem? Thanks in advance for any comments.
Hey Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and safe travels all.

Could be leaking out of the boiler tank cap and evaporating.

With that info. I would say its burning off. Any smoke/steam out of exhaust?
I know aoutomotive coolant has a distinct smell when burning.
Good Luck

Radiator cap on top the unit, must get a little hotter on diesel so it loses a little more. It's a maintenance item, change it. The used different ones so look up your specific model aquahot. Mines a standard auto parts store item.

Radiator cap is what I'd suspect first. Mine seem to last only a couple of years or so before they start leaking.

Cheap way to validate this input (Of which was my first thought too, as the Diesel Burner does put out higher temps.), is to get a radiator cap... Also, next place you have service that you feel understand Aqua/HydroHots - have the coolant level tested for the proper mixture. IF the radiator cap has been leaking, that is H2O, and possible your mixture is now out of wack...

Please update if you find out some other problem was the cause, as it could help others down the road...

Best,
Smitty
