iRV2 is owned by Social Knowledge, LLC. This company owns other online forums and has well over a million folks such as us. Each time we logon, peruse, post, etc., we effectively “support” the company. Hits count toward what is earned. That’s how it works. I’m very comfortable with that. Pretty good system.

Very different than “the old days” when places such as this were run by someone in their basement, usually with their own money and volunteered time.

Here’s more about the company:

They only accept payment by PayPal. PayPal and I had a serious dispute years ago and I will NOT use PayPal.

If they took any other form of payment I'd be more than happy to be a supporter.

Well, I DID pay to be a supporter for maybe 2 years. At first I asked if there was an option besides Pay Pal. There wasn't so I just went along. I tolerated them just yanking away my money because I love this site....And I still do. Finally I just failed to renew as they badgered me every few weeks. Like Old Biskit, I try to help people out- that's my passion....both on line and at the rv parks. I love irv2.

Yup thats me also. After a while I realized that I kept coming here for a reason and if it wasnt worthwhile, Id have stopped long ago. Plus I got the cool big sticker thats going to serve as my front plate....

My son says its facebook for old people but Im ok with that too. And then I remind him that he got me back into RV’ing after a fairly long hiatus when he bought his “5er” (he hates that)
