ARP Seminar at Quartzite
Those of you who are attending the annual winter gathering in Quartzite might be interested in attending a seminar to be given by Paul Unmack, inventer of the ARP RV refrigerator protection device. It will be on January 5th at 2 PM at the QIA community center.
If you don't know what an ARP is, see http://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/test-...ce-186090.html

Being an internet guy when I hear ARP, I think Address Resolution Protocol. This is how the internet maps names like 'yahoo.com' to the actual internet address like 169.101.225.345 (not the real address).

I'm so ticked
We were going too be first timers as snobird's at Quartzite next month. The radiator sprung a pin hole leak the other day and will not be able too go. We are so disappointed
First big repair on the MH since we got her.
Thoughts about a Stop Leak product?
Disappointed

Those stop leaks products will clog up your water passages, heater core, thermostat and other things. They only postpone the inevitable with your radiator which will still have to be replaced but they leave their gunk behind.
Best to avoid.

depending on where the leak is is could be minor and repaired for less than $15 with products like liquid steel, etc.

I learned today that Paul Unmack, the ARP inventor, will have a booth at the FMCA rally in Indio. Jan 8-12. Paul says he will be demonstrating his Absorption Refrigerator Protection module on an actual Dometic cooling unit and answering questions about refrigerator cooling unit operation. And I'm sure he will have ARP modules available for sale too.

I think Paul Unmack may be onto something here. I do wish he had picked another acronym that doesn't sound like a retirement organization that is doing us no favors in Washington.
I would like to have him consider buying a booth at the Quartzsite RV show beginning 18 Jan where he would get tons of exposure and most likely the same in sales. That 10 days of the show is the peak of the winter visitor season and those people wandering around under the big top are there to spend money on the latest and greatest gadgets and inventions for the RV lifestyle.
