Awning Parts

In this day and age of “don’t fix it, replace it!”, I’m having a hard time conforming. So, I’m looking to replace a bent awning adjustment slide. It’s the aluminum part that the adjustment knob holds tight. I’ve searched the internet and cannot find one. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I would start with getting the specific pn from your manufacturer. Is it a carefree?

Yes, it’s a Dometic 9100. Serial # 54398400 SKU #9108834557
MFG/PNC 958633459. I’m not too far from LaGrange, IN where it was assembled and would gladly swing by if I knew I could get the part I need. It seems RV manufacturers insist you visit a dealer, even though they are backed up with service work. This isn’t the first time I’ve needed a repair part and can’t find what I need. Ladders are another item I should be able to just order and install myself, but they insist you visit a dealership. It’s frustrating.
