Coldest for me was -65 and my first new car was a 1978 Ford Granada With a Straight 6 4 speed W/OD and the only car that started in the parking lot. Sure took awhile for the clutch to warm up though

This was a while ago 1960s in Minnesota. I got off 2nd shift, it was -30°, very windy. I had a 66 Mustang with a 4spd manual. I put it in neutral and depressed the clutch. When it started it immediately drove off, clutch still depressed, still in neutral. Drove about 20 yds then put it in gear and let the clutch out. I then moved to California. Now in AZ, 25° and snow on the ground.
