It's got good reviews! Looks like it might be a winner!

That's a good price! I really want to replace my 2005 model. I feel like a kid watching a black and white cartoon from the sixties.

I got one very similar to that from RV Cams.com two years ago and I love it! I can see the toad, and about 10 cars lengths behind me, and 2 lanes left and right behind me. It takes a bit to get used to the slight Fish eye lense, but what an improvement over my 2006 Black/white camera!!!!!!!

I have wanted to change out my black and white for sometime. I have been told that I would have to change the wiring. How difficult would it be to run the new wire from back to front? Could I attach the new wire to the old and pull it through? Is there any chance to use the existing wires?

Contact the good guys at RVCam and ask those questions. So much depends on what wire you currently have and what condition it is in.

I elected to run all new wire due to corrosion on one of the conductors.
  • Going from the camera to the rear frame was easy.
  • Running it along the frame wasn't all that bad except for the dirt.
  • Getting past the fuel tank in my coach was a bugger.
  • Running up into the "Hood" was easy.
  • Running from the "Hood" area to the inside and then up along the windshield post then into the overhead cabinets was a real challenge. (If your coach has the monitor mounted along the dashboard then it will be easier)

I would doubt seriously you could connect the new wire to the old one and be able to pull it through. In my coach the existing backup camera wire runs inside the coach inside hidden wire chases and the manufacturer taped all of the wires together. No way could I pull the old one out so I just ran a new one along the frame.

Ordered a wireless monitor today to replace the black & white, limited view, factory installed rear view. I'll post how it works out.
