Back up Camera

My '93 Bounder back up camera works either sporadically or not at all. How do I determine if it's a camera, monitor or connection issue?

I'm a newbie. I totally understand the "I'm not an owner, I'm a mechanic" statement.....sheesh. If it's not one thing, it's another.
So far, both coach batteries, the main battery, headlight switch, heater switch( I don't think the dash air is working properly, it keeps blowing fuses.)

You should be able to get to the connecting plug at the back of the monitor.
To test the Monitor connect a known good Camera to the input Jack.
To test the Camera use an RCA Extension and plug that into the Video IN on a VCR connected to a TV ( Monitor)
