Think I would have told him that I would not pay for the sorry meal and his sorry attitude does not wash either and just forget I was ever there.

We had lunch there a month and a half ago and had poor service and lousy burgers. She ran my card incorrectly and we ended up having to have it changed through the bank. (I love online banking,) We had a young girl with streaky hair and black fingernail polish. Not too much else close to their and it was raining. I just forgot it.

It was raining the day we were there, sounds like you had the same Texting queen we did.

We were on our way down the road to the Devils Tower and got within a half mile of the place and realized that the closer we got the bigger it got Sooo we admired it from afar and turned around and went back to I-90 and on to the Corn Palace, Wall Drugs (what was that about) and the Badlands.

I have yet to find anything KOA that is satisfactory.
@ 70 years old I am not in the least hesitant about sending unsatisfactory food back. I am not a bit embarassed when I can't get service about getting up and leaving. If I need something more and am being ignored I call out "how about service here" or I get up and go to where the service people are and jump all over them about their wanting a tip but ignoring their customers. Then I do not leave a tip. I leave a penny or nickel.

about the same as me.. I left her a penny.
If I am in a KOA campground it is only because there was no other choice.
