Bamboo TP?

Anyone using bamboo toilet paper? I’ve used it for three tanks and I don’t seem to have any problems as yet.

Wouldn't 80 grit sandpaper be more comfortable.

Very funny, I guess I should elaborate, anyone had any troubles with they’re holding tanks. I haven’t tried 80 grit, so I couldn’t compare..[emoji15]

No but I am now wearing bamboo socks, they are the best fitting most comfortable socks I have ever owned.

We went to the bamboo because we were using too much of the regular kind and it was balling up and I was having trouble flushing the bw tank. We use much less with the bamboo because it is stronger there is no need to have several layers per “swipe” per se.

If you use plenty of water the type of TP you use is irrelevant. We flush baby wipes with no problem. After dumping and rinsing the black tank I fill it 25% full with water, in my case 10 gallons. That keeps everything wet. Then fill the tank before dumping so the "whoosh" of all that water flushes everything out. If you are trying to conserve water or dump the tanks when not full then you may have problems.

Weird that nobody else is suffering from "excessive regular TP usage" clogs. Maybe you need a little remedial TP operational training. I'm not volunteering.

Seems to me that if bamboo is stronger it would not dissolve as rapidly either.

You do know you can't start a thread like this and not expect at least a couple smart a$$ responses. All in good fun.

It’s weird that you’ve studied other people’s TP usage but maybe you could do a Youtube training video for those of us that are challenged in that regard.[emoji90]

I like good old Costco TP myself. Sounds like you need to work on your flushing methods if you're have to go to a bamboo TP. Ouch....

That’s what I was using, thanks for the advice. I’d like to put a lid on this post, it’s starting to stink.[emoji40]
