Basement compartment doors

Is there a retro fit for the compartment doors on a National tropical lx Motorhomes from the swing up hinge to a side hinge door.

I think if someone could make a universal retro fit for that, they could make a fortune. One of the reasons I bought my new coach was to get away from doors that lifted up. Too hard on the knees. Trying to retro fit the doors would not be cost effective.
