Bathroom lock, need advice

Looking for some advice on how i can lock the bathroom doors, one is like a regular door, the knob looks smaller than the regular, the other door is sliding.
Any of you install any kind of locks?
We usually travel with kids and we would like to get some privacy

My bathroom has pocket doors on both sides with finger pulls so they don't open all the way - the finger pull is still exposed. Hard to explain.

To lock they used a small 3 piece lock. You lock and unlock from inside the bath only. 1 piece was mounted on the frame and has 2 drilled fingers that stick out maybe 1/4" or more, another part with 1 drilled finger is installed on the exposed part of the door (finger pull is about 1" in diameter) and this piece was mounted when the door was closed and the piece was mated to the piece on the frame. Once these two pieces are mated you slide a pin through all 3 holes.
I googled for a while but couldn't find what they are called.

Growing up us kids were taught to knock and ASK before going into a bedroom/bathroom when the door was closed.

No locks needed....just manners.
Teach the kids to respect your privacy. Life lesson that will do them well throughout their lives.

I have installed many pocket doors when home building... just go to local lumber yard and ask for a pocket door latch.. usually have to use a jig saw and cut out a square c. and has a little lever in center of the unit.. ..well about 3 inch by 3 inch..the lever operates a latch like a patio door{if you have a good one} oh to hold it open there is another special latch like a hook but way more sophisticated
