I'll start shopping for a 5Lb tank for the flexibility it will provide. Next question will be which grill to get.

I'll start a seperate thread for that...

Weber Q series is the only way to go.used a Weber suitcase type for many years. They work OK, but the Qs are soooo much better.

The popup I used to have the previous owner used a stove/grill thing attached to the side. Right after I got it I was wondering what all the sticky goo was all up the side and on the canvas. Figured out it was grease and smoke from the grill and from that point forward I have to wonder why anyone would ever want to have a grill attached, or very close to the side of an RV. All I can picture is the inevitable you tube video like the ones around thanksgiving with the turkey deep fryers. I have the propane hoses for mine since I have an extend-a-stay but I use portable tanks with the grill and find a clear spot well away from the RV.

I'll also mention that my two of my three coaches had the propane tank on the street (driver) side, so awkward for using a hose tee'd from the LP system.
Where were your propane appliances located? Our tank is street side, furnace and refrigerator are patio side.

I easy modification and a 10’ hose and the grill is ready to go.
