Stayed near there at a place called "Tuck in the Wood" campground. I recall that it was full hookup and little more than that. As I recall it was convenient to Beaufort, but it has been some time.

Not far from there I recall a state campground, I think Hunting Island, was next to ocean, sort of remote, difficult to get in during summer months, and don't think it is full hookup.

Hope it helps, has been a while since there.

We stayed at Hunting Island State Park. If memory is correct we had a full hooup site. Big Park on the Beach lots of things to do. Even a free fishing pier and light house.

The only sites with full hook-ups at Hunting Island are handicap and host sites.

Hunting Island has full hook-up. We were there in April of 2013. We would stop again. Roomy campsite seemed private. Narrow roads but navigable. See campsite pic.

Safe travels and THE JOY IS IN THE RIDE
