We installed a 42" Global 12V unit in our KSDP. It was a bit of a chore, but came out nice.

The unit moved lots of air and was VERY quiet. That unit was reversable and had 5 speeds, with a remote control.

We replaced the ceiling light with this unit, and mounted some LED lights to compensate for removing the light.

The real problem was mounting the fan in the space available. What I did was remove the light and position a plywood board in the space. This allowed me to offset the fan closer to the room available.

I have looked for pictures of the installation, but haven't found them yet.

I may find them, but don't hold your breath.

HTH
