Best method to sell Class A?
We are aging and with recent health issues it’s time to sell. We will definitely miss this lifestyle!
We have a 2019 Winnebago Intent 29L and may try to sell ourselves to see what kind of response we get. [moderator edit] It’s ready for a new owner. We live in Arizona and there’s no sales tax for a person to person sale.
The only website I’m familiar with is RVTrader.com. Is that our best bet?
Thanks!

There are classifieds here, second line, under the snowy campground scene on my screen. FB marketplace and craigslist are still very popular, and easy to search if someone is looking for a 2019 Winne, or your price range, or near your location. You'll deal with a lot of people that never reply, and some scammers on either, but it will get lots of eyeballs and sell if you're willing to drop the price regularly until it sells.

Not to say you're messy but a clean and tidy interior says something without words. Before you post it for sale clean up and declutter the interior before you take pics. I've seen units listed for sale with dirty dishes in the sink, stuff all over the countertops, beds unmade, clothes thrown over furniture like there's something to hide, etc.

Sales tax is assessed when a private sale vehicle is registered, so no sales tax only applies to people who will be registering it in Arizona. It won’t make any difference if the buyer is from out of state.
When it comes to any vehicle sale the two most important items are condition and price.
Make sure everything is working. That it is clean inside and outside. As already mentioned, get all your personal items out. Local advertising usually trumps the national publications. Most people want to see a rig before they buy it and traveling across the country rapidly runs up the cost of the purchase for the buyer. And everyone knows ads for RVs are like photos on dating websites, the rig looks nothing like the photos .
As for pricing, don’t overestimate the value. It is likely worth less than you think, and almost assuredly less than you hope to get. Try and research what similar rigs have sold for, not what they are listed for. Contact a consignment dealer and find out what they would suggest listing it for. That will be a close approximation for what you can hope to achieve.
You are on a great state to sell because there are lots of RVers , but time is getting short. The snowbirds are soon flocking north. And when the thermometer reaches triple digits, people quickly lose the desire to be outside looking at RVs for sale.

Just a suggestion, but PPL in Texas has sold prices to give you a good idea what ones like or similar are selling for. They also do a huge consignment business .

rvtrader.com or Craigslist
I have sold several used RVs. Don't trade it in or sell to a dealer. I use rvtrader.com or Craigslist. I usually buy the deluxe ad package that allows more pictures. Clean everything and make it look like new. Takes lots of detailed pictures.
A lot of people use Facebook Marketplace, but I have not used this yet...
Check your area for similar RVs within 2 years of your RV and set your price accordingly. I also do a nationwide search to see what price other similar RVs go for...
Good Luck, Jerry

RV Trader & National Vehicle
I have come across these 2 online sites to sell RV's...I haven't used either, so no personal recommendation, but have heard good things about them on podcasts. They do cost, but they also help get your rig out in front of many buyers and also helps you mitigate risk...might be worth the cost.

In many areas there is a sales tax advantage for a dealer trade in. Often for a trade you only pay sales tax on the difference between the trade in value and purchase price. Here in New York that is $4,375 on a $50K trade.

There are some RV consignment places in the greater Phoenix area. Since you live in Prescott where it's not as hot in the summer you should try to sell it there now and if still not sold by Fall take it down to Phoenix at a consignment place. You don't want it sitting in the Phoenix heat all summer!
Advertise now in a Phoenix publication of RVTrader and also locally in Prescott.
It's pleasant RVing year-round in Arizona! You'll sell it fast.
