Best product for linking dual wheel valve stems
OK I know I could have done a search on this, as Ive seen references to various products before. Id like the latest information, as time goes by some folks may not be happy with the product they've installed. Also considering the valve caps that can be linked to a smart phone to alert users of low tire pressure. Im tired of removing hubcaps to check tire pressure!! Thanks in advance for any replies!

Why not just get a TPMS and be done with it. I don't see any reason to involve your phone.

Be aware that linked dually tires mean that you get 2 flats at the same time.
There are better alternatives.

Look at Cats Eye and Cross fire. Reviews on both seem to be pretty good. In the event of a leak or tire failure the valve shuts so other tire does not go flat. I am debating which one to go with. If you find a better solution please post it. Safe travels
Enjoy the journey

Thanks for that suggestion. Yes indeed I did check them both out. I was hoping for more responses regarding those systems. Actual user feedback is hard to beat. Reviews can be slanted, and generally I dont trust them. In the short term Im thinking I may just install valve extensions for the inside wheels. I closely monitor tire pressures. (for obvious reasons) Im just not sure the added complexity of the "cats eye" or similar systems are worth it. Its not the $$$$, its the old school notion of of KISS.

I like KISS
I just ordered valve stem caps with pressure indicator in them for front wheels. If they turn out to work may just do same for rears. For now I will just continue to check pressure day befor I leave locations. Safe travels

Never had a TPMS. Been in the RV all over the place for over 20 years, never had an issue.
What we have done is (on our conversion van/trailer/motorhome etc.):
1.) get metal valve stems.
2.) get extended length valve stems (easy to access)
3.) get valve extension hoses (metal) for the rear dual tires, inner and outer
Now all tires are easy to access for tire pressure adjustments.
We always check out tire pressure before we go on long trips, or at least once a month. This goes for the airbags (suspension) as well.
As TOBxxx said, unless you get a linked connection with a one-way valve, connecting your dually tires can cause air loss in 2 tires at once even if just one tire is loosing air.
BUT: using a connection with a one-way valve will not allow you to lower the pressure in only one tire.
Happy Camping!

OK folks here's an update. I ordered the "SYKIK-TPMS Real Time Tire Pressure Monitoring system" from Amazon. Not the best system out there but it should give us peace of mind as we'll be able to closely monitor tire pressure on all 8 wheels. Thanks to all for your replies!!
