My EPDM roof must have a big section cut out to repair water damage (leak around ac that only showed up recently, must have leaked for some time). I am looking for suggestions as to what liquid roof product to use to do the entire roof over existing rubber roof as well as exposed plywood from the repair. I’m leaning toward a system called RV Roof Magic but would love to find what others have used with success.

Since you know it's EPDM not TPO or PVC, I'd suggest calling the manufacturer of the material for their suggestions.

I used henery silicone roof coating put on three coats .
Going on 2 years now still looks like new and no peeling, but it is very slick when wet

No liquid roof until after a patch, if then.
You can buy EDPM in 1 x 8 foot sections and the glue to put it down.
I'd do that then seam it to with EDPM with eternabond.

Don't use the liquid rubber-type stuff until you have recovered the repaired area with EPDM, either the original stuff you saved or new replacement material (you buy it by the foot or piece). Seal the seams around the patched area with Dicor or similar lap sealant. Then you can coat over it if you feel that is necessary.

here are lots of good coating products, e.g. from Dicor or Alpha (who make EPDM membranes), or companies like Liquid Roof, Kool-Seal RV, Henry's, etc. Take your pick.
