Bike rack

I want to use a hitch mounted bike rack behind my motorhome while towing myF150.
Any suggestions? I'm worried about tight turns. Thanks

If made in the USA is important to you, a company called "1up USA" makes the best quality bike rack on the market. You get what you pay for...

I would suggest that you mount the bike rack to your toad, that way the bikes are always with you.

I tow a Jeep Wrangler and got a hitch mount bike rack and mount it to the hitch on the Jeep. No problems.

Thanks for the replies. I have been using a rack in the truck receiver. A real pain getting things in and out of the bed with the bikes on.

I was also concerned with turning clearance with a bike rack. I ended up getting the Kuat n2 2.0 as it had the shortest depth. My Jeep clears the tires just fine.

I also wanted the tilt away feature so I could open the engine hatch on the motorhome.

I am using the Blue OX avail tow bar. To get the bike rack and towbar connected, I purchased the Roadmaster dual hitch adapter. https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories.../RM-077-2.html

I also have a Thule bike rack on the back of my Jeep. Bikes stay on the motorhome under a BBQ grill cover except when they are being used.

The Kuat bike rack is an excellent product. It is not RV approved, but I cannot find anything wrong using it on my motorhome.

The only hassle with my setup is when I detach the jeep. The towbar cannot be positioned in its stored location. So, I have to use wires/bungees to attach each tow bar arm to the bottom of the bike rack.

We use a swagman rack mounted between the coach and the toad and have not had any problems.

I have two Kuat racks. The NV carrying 4 bikes off the back of the MH, and the Sherpa off the back of the jeep. I have a dual hitch like azSkier has. Kuat came out with this

http://www.kuatracks.com/products/hitch/pivot/

You may want to check it out if you want to carry them on the truck. Otherwise, I recommend the dual hitch/NV or Sherpa racks.

I dont know if the 1 up tilts but my Kuat rack tilts down and I can fully open the tail gate with the bikes on the rack.

My Kuat does as well, and it's built well enough that I could probably put a dirtbike on it.
