I just had a new air conditioner put in.
I have a 29 foot travel trailer 30 amp.
The breaker keeps poping..What do you think the problem is.
Please get back to me
Thank you

Which breaker is it (30 amp or 20 amp) and what else are you running at the same time?

My first guess would be a loose connection. Does it run awhile before it pops? If so there might be a loose connection in the fuse panel or in the AC.
Need to find it asap.

That is what mine was doing. I cleaned the evaporator, helped a little. replaced the breaker and cured the problem. They do wear out.

Loose connections will cause wires to heat up but the amp don't climb from it.
Bad connections and arcing add resistance to the circuit causing heat. Unless that heat is at the breaker it won't trip it.
The amps will actually drop from a bad connection.

What brand of breaker? Some are more prone to failure than others.

Joe it looks like you have had several responses with questions. It helps to try an answer if you want help. That said if you found your problem let us know that too and what you found. You were not clear if the breaker that is kicking is your 30 amp main breaker or the breaker running the AC or possibly the breaker feeding your RV? I’m thinking you have a weak breaker or possibly a bad capacitor or something on your new AC unit. New components do fail.

OK, check the connection on the breaker panel. This is exactly what was causing one of my AC breakers to trip. It also melted the insulation on the wire.

When dealing with synchronous AC motors, the current draw goes up when the voltage drops. This is because the motor is driven by the timing of the input power and if low voltage keeps the motor from running at full speed it’s like startup or mechanical overload all of the time.

Which breaker? If it’s the main breaker, what else are you running? A 30 Amp RV requires some user power management since the AC can use half of the available power on its own.

The trouble is within the park. The power goes down and everything in the park goes off. Not good. We are moving on. The owner will not fix the problem.
Thank you

Correct, for voltage drop, due to an overloaded supply.
A bad, burning connection is NOT an overload. Its adding resistance in series and using up amperage to create the arc.
