Bumper hose storage!

The inside of my bumper is rusted pretty good. Anybody ever clean one and how did you do it.
Not really interested in alternatives for carrying the hose, just cleaning what I have.

If it's rusted bad and flaking, it's probably going to fall apart soon and will need replacing anyway. Meanwhile how about using a wire brush chimney sweep for about $10 with a rope to pull it through (or buy the rods)? I know you don't want to hear this, but install a 6" plastic tube above the bumper for the sewer hose instead or under the camper frame.

You might regret using bumper......most are rough inside and was that way when new,,,,,with hose in there, you'll end up with pin holes....

I used our bumper for a while, but started noticing wear spots on the hose. I added a pic sleeve under the belly of the RV for the hose. I preferred the bumper, but not at the expense of a new hose more often than necessary.

Well I started to rethink this and might go to a different carrier. The fence post is a good idea.
My trailer is 11 months old as I have the manufacture date and I bought it new last June. So the idea of pin holes won’t happen happen for some time.

The bottom of the trailer is all closed in so I will have to come up with some ideas to attach a fence post.
