Bunkhouse/2 bedroom search

I currently have a 31’ class C and looking at replacing it with a bunkhouse (two bedroom) travel trailer or fifth wheel. We have looked at a few and the wish list includes good inside storage, kitchen island, outdoor kitchen and adequate exterior storage. We have two grandchildren that we would like to take with us but have the versatility to use the other room for my father when he wants to go (without the grandchildren) or when my wife thinks I need a time out.

We currently camp at state parks and private campgrounds, I do not wish to have too big of a rig to limit places we can go. The average length we are finding for our needs is around 36 feet. I plan to purchase a 3/4 or 1 ton truck to use as my tow vehicle.

Any input/opinions would be appreciated as there are limited dealers in our area and have only been able to physically look at a few manufacturers.

It's going to be harder to find something that is shorter. Go up to 40'+- and availability goes up. GF had a Crusader 5th wheel bunkhouse at 39' but not an island kitchen. With bunkhouse and toy haulers, the living area is significantly compromised and you may find the island kitchen creates an obstacle to comfortably using it. I'd also suggest looking at those with queen beds not kings especially not RV kings. Usable space issues.
