Buyers beware

Camping World is trying to unload there stock of out of date stuff. Like Mobileye C2-270 Collision Prevention System.
Well like a dummy I ordered one and emailed Mobileye and was told that that system is way out of service and has no warranty at all plus was told that they lost there retail and service with them. So I emailed him back and what now and was basically told I have a boat anchor. Contacted CW and email and was told well when I get it send it back but I told them you haven't shipped it yet. So I decided to call them and explained to a Nice lady and she took over it and within an hour I got my money back. But CW shows them on sale and it sounded to good and it was. So anyone out their lookout for this item Mobileye C2-270 Collision Prevention System

I researched the system a week or so ago and found the same thing, but before I ordered it.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

Maybe I'm confused here, but the fact it doesn't have a warranty doesn't seem to be a deal breaker.

If the device works, then paying $100 for something that originally was $750 is a great deal. People buy used stuff all the time.

I don't see this as a reason to hate on CW. There are plenty of real reasons besides they "put something on clearance." Maybe they should just throw stuff away.

Ok the install is easy but you need to calibrate the unit using a laptop and mobileye software which only authorized dealers have and since CW lost that authority they cannot do it and that unit is way out of date. In other words you have a computer wit no drivers or software. And no other centers will touch it because it has been replaced with the 560. I hope this answers you question.
