Buying a new rv from MHSRV

Has anyone had experience in buying a new RV from MHSRV in Texas? I keep seeing negative reviews and good reviews. We would have to spend 2 days driving to get there. The prices look pretty good, but not sure if we want to invest a week to go there and back. Any tips, suggestions, stories, personal experiences?

Skip,
We live 15 minutes up I-35 from them and they sell a BOATLOAD of rv's...

We go down there every once in a while to look, but they haven't allowed us to test drive one yet, even when we brought ours in for a trade in !

BUT, you could spend two days going through all their on site inventory they have so many.

If we found something we wanted to trade up to, we'd probably go to NIRVS - they have a dealer in Lewisville, Tx as well as National Indoor RV Centers
let us know if we can help !

I bought a used MH from them this year. Everything went well. I will recommend them. I made a deposit on a MH and when I arrived they allowed me to test drive it. I think they require a deposit before a test drive. You can also transfer your deposit to a different rig if you change your mind.

Why wouldn't they let you drive one especially if you had brought another rv for trade--in?

Excellent folks there at Motorhome Specialists

We hit the RV supershow in Tampa at least every other year and sometimes every year. We lived in Frisco Texas which is about 45 mins to an hr from MHS in Alverado. But as others have said, you can spend the entire day there from open to close and not see it all.
Folks there are really great! Very friendly, you can walk in, give them your Drivers license and they will hand you the keys to a golf cart and you are free to drive around all day long. They supply you with plenty of water also and some other goodies if you want.
They do record your information but you know we never had sales people call and bother us. They are completely hands off and yet are there if you choose to visit with a Sales person. On one of our last visits we did have a salesman we spoke with on a new Discovery. There is no pressure sales there at all from what we have seen.
From what we compared to on new units at the Supershow, they were at or under prices in Tampa on the units we looked at.
When I have had questions on my Sports Coach they have helped me out also. We just find them to be a great bunch of folks to deal with. Well worth the drive. We plan to stop in on our way to the RGV end of November.

I bought a used coach from them this year. They pretty much just wholesale their used coaches price wise. They were good to deal with but you do not get the same VIP treatment a new Coach buyer gets as far as the demo and salesman time. They also have an area you can "camp" at in your new rig(after you buy it) to try it out just to make sure everything works and you have no questions of how it works.

Mhsrv

I bought a new coachman sportscoach 404rb 3/16. I looked and looked but couldn’t find another dealer to give me more bang for the buck them mhsrv! Acres and acres of rv’s from 25,000 to 1.5 million. My rep was jimmy. When I have a question I text him and he always gets back to me. 15,000 miles later only small problems. Enjoying ours.
