Bypass Valve Not Working Right

We took our last camping trip of the season over Thanksgiving weekend.
Not too far off, but still out of Charlotte.
Sunday morning, I drained the water tank and all the lines via the low point drains. Flipped the valve, opened a jug of RV antifreeze, put the tube in, and turned on the water pump.
Nothing happened. The water pump was running, but no antifreeze was being pumped out.
I seem to remember having to mess with it last year to get it pumping, but it seemed like all I did was turn the city water off.
Any suggestions as to what's happening?
Thanks in advance for your responses!

I'm guessing you forgot to turn the valve on the short fill hose on!

I have to prime mine by pouring some antifreeze into the hose first. Then I stick it in the bottle and it sucks it up just fine. You might try that.

I tried this today. When I did, I noticed antifreeze running down the floor!
I tightened up the fittings after cleaning up the antifreeze.
It was drawing it up, but not all the way, so I tilted the bottle enough so that it could draw it up and into the system.
I even had enough left to put some into all the drains and the toilet!
Thanks for your help everyone!
