Cable TV Scan

I have a 2016 Thor Four Winds Class C with Seiki TVs. I am having difficulties with the TVs picking up digital cable channels when I run the channel scan. I recently connected the cable from the RV patk hookup directly to my TV and got no channels when I did the scan again. I turn the antenna signal booster off as instructions state. When the scan is completed, I get 130 RF channels scanned but 0 picked up. Can anyone help me understand what I need to do in order to get cable TV when I am at a RV park ?

Just a thought,
Were you sure that the R. V. Park that you were at T.V. Cable was O.K. and working.
Because when the last time I went cross Country I hit a couple R.V. Parks that no longer bother with keeping there T.V. cable up to date.

I found this on a Palazzo thread

"I found the answer! Stupid Seiki needed a "QAM" code before it would find the cable channels. I had to call Seiki at (855) 697-3454 for the code. For whatever I need a code for this, I'll never figure."

And also this

"I'm not positive about the code being the same, but it was an automated voice prompt from Seiki that gave it to me. Nothing to lose to try it; the code was "31415". As for it being a PDI item, I buy that, however I've yet to buy any TV that needed a code before it'll pick up cable reception."

Sorry, I don't know for sure. I copied it from another thread. They also suggested buying a "QAM" digital receiver box.

I just helped a couple with the same set up in a CG last week. They had the same exact problem. First make sure that your TV antenna booster is in the off position(ie no green light). Their's was located in an upper cabinet on the passenger side of the MH. Just push the button to make sure it is in the off position.

Then with your remote, go to the "source" button and make sure it is on "TV". Then hit the menu button and you can scroll sideways all the way to the end and I think it was "channel". Hit the center enter button and it will say "air" or "cable", hit the arrow until it shows cable if in the "air" position. Then push the down arrow to go to "scan". Let it go thru the scan, should take about 5-10 minutes, and you should get whatever channels they have on the CG cable system. Doing this sequence they went from 0 channels to 48 channels. You have to do this on each TV to get reception.

This Couple had been traveling for a couple weeks without any TV at all. They took it into the shop where they bought it, but in 3 days they couldn't get it to work so they left on their trip. We played with the remote and various set ups for about 30 minutes before we were able to navigate to this point. We didn't have to enter any codes. Once we figured it out it really only takes a few minutes. Good Luck
