Camper Mold

We bought a used MH the end of March and discovered it must have had a leak and the ceiling and walls in the bedroom appear to have black mold and a very heavy mildew odor. Also, under the bed we can see the wood in the slideout is black. There is no leak now, but how do we get rid of the odor and does all the black wood have to be removed. That would be a major overhaul of the back half of the camper. If so, is there any way we can return the camper to the dealer after five months. We are concerned that we were sold a camper with a major problem in the walls.

The wood will have to be changed, if you can see it on the surface chances are it's worse on the back side and it will make you sick if your prone to allergies. As for the dealer good luck on that one you can ask but most likely they will say it was fine when it left unless you got some sort of warranty for structural issues with them sometimes they might work with you
