Campground rv numbers

Stop by local CCG (Defeated Creek Campground) this past Sunday to see how things were looking and my DW said where is everyone. This placed is usually booked up at the beginning of season all the way through. 155 sites with all the amenities of camping available there were only 35 campers in park. This was 2 hours after check-in. Is this the results of to early, too cold, gas prices to high or state of our enjoyment or all the above? Got on line back at home and looks like there are a lot of reservation being booked. Just wondering what our forum thinks.

Up here in the Northeast we have had a colder than normal winter and spring. The weatherman said it was running 20 deg under normal last week. Grass is JUST starting to green up now and people are beginning to come out of hibernation
I think people are still recovering from the bad winter all over this year.

Well for me plenty of folks in Thousand Trails in Florida. Pretty crowded with many folks from out of State.

COE Campground on Cordell Hull Lake in Middle Tn. near Carthage, Tn. Exit 258 I-40. Beautiful campground with lots to offer. Lots of 50 amps sites with lake view sewer hook -up on higher elevated sites. Google Defeated Creek Campground Tn. Good luck and have a great summer of camping.
