I'd have to think the law is not so cut and dry. For example, you cant run a 4 wheeler on a hiking trail because of the ADA.

You cant drive a golf cart up a wheel chair accessible ramp.

I think if it came down to it you may need a lawyer. Probably would be better to call a few campgrounds who have already dealt with this and see what you get as a response.

And you would still be wrong. The ADA is not a traffic code. It gives legitimately disabled persons very wide latitude to do what is needed for access and does not allow for restrictions on property open to the public. Even state and county building codes and HOA restrictions are routinely overridden by the ADA.

I have rented golf carts in many campgrounds. The $50 to $100 per day cost will get old real quick if you have to rent on a regular basis.

From your Profile it looks like you have truck pulling a small trailer. If so, why not just drive your truck to get where you want to go?

Sorry I’ve upset you Mr. Gary.
See l just wanted thoughts not judgement, l can get that from my wife!
I wish you to read and comprehend my post.
I have as much right as anyone if the laws allow it, that’s my question.
Gary who are you to say my buggy is to loud, have you heard it?
What makes you think I’m the kind of person who would want to annoy anyone ?
Do ll now you?
Have you seen me or my buggy?
Gary will you sell me one?

Is 37’ small?
Kinda hard driving campsites in the crew cab, supercharged, Chevy truck.
So a golf kart is more like able for me.
Plus l don’t want to exploit my handicap by getting in and out of my truck, takes too long, golf cart allow me to slide around.
But thanks for your suggestion.

MANY campgrounds don't want ANY carts in there so you have to rent theirs...
Thanks for the advice.

If you have the gas golf cart, go with it. A gasoline powered cart is not that noisy, highly unlikely that you will be using it during campground 'quiet hours'. Have a copy of the ADA rules, just in case a campground gives you a hard time.
If you are looking for a cart, google golf cart sales or check with any local golf course. If they don't sell used carts, they could direct you to a nearby dealer. An upscale club near me always has a cart left near the road with a big sign, "carts for sale phone"

When you have the cart, get a decal or 2 for it showing its use https://decalzone.com/cutout/symbols/road_signs.shtml

Advantages at campground, your spouse can ride beside you, enjoy the scenery with you. With my spouse (rip) we would rent a golf cart (especially at Disney's Fort Wilderness) and strap her wheel chair on the back, for access to small for the golf cart.

FWIW, my son-in-law once worked at a golf course repairing carts. He told me he seldom had to work on an electric cart, just replace batteries and recharge them, but the gas carts always required maintenance for something.
