I do check their online website, if I find anything I'm interested, I search the web for the same product and buy it there rather than from Camping World.
When I Go to a RV store, I do not look for products. I look for ideas.

There use to be a CW in Mission TX., it was only open part year, when the Winter Texans were here. They shut it down a few years ago due to highway construction.

It has not been rebuilt, I guess CW figured out that the Winter Texans are a pretty SMART BUNCH! lol

Camping World

If you don’t think CW is rapidly taking over the RV sales part of the industry, come to the Tampa RV Supershow. From one end of the fairgrounds to the other, you see the blue and white Camping World signs on many different brands of RV’s. They are buying out independent dealers right and left. It looks like they have involvement in about 25% of the booths at the show.

I meant one guy who was very angry. He had bought a very high end Newmar from an independent RV dealer who had a good reputation for superior service after the sale.

When he went to pick up his new coach, he found out the dealership had been sold to Camping World.

As luck would have it, he dinged up his new coach on one if his first trips. Took it back to the dealer, which was now CW. Service was very bad and paint work was “atrocious”. He’s now looking for a new service provider.
