Mt experience with CW in Savannah has been nothing but bad. Made an appointment for generater problem for first thing in the morning; showed up 30 minites early; waited 1 1/2 hrs for them to take it in and 4 hrs additional waiting to be told it was an overheating problem because of bad Onan design. That cost me $199 + a 130 mile drive. After dealing directly with Onan, it turned out to be a bad fuel pump. Tried to buy a used motorhme from them and they wouldn't budge on price and would only give me wholesale less 20% for my trade. Ordered a prat from there servive dept. and after 4 phone calls, 2 visits and 4 months was told the part was not available anymore. Called the factory and got the part in 3 days. On the other hand, CW in St Augustine is great with what I've dealt with them. As a general rule CW is more expensise than others, but if your there and are shopping, its nice to pick it up and look at it. I find many Wall Marts are carring more and more RV items.

A few years back I had a hydraulic line leak. Camping World ia 15 minutes away. They insisted they had a hard time getting parts. I shot a letter off to their corporate Hq wondering why CW is buying out dealers and cornering the market but has no clout with suppliers. 2 days later my job was done, at no cost.

I have a local CW and they could not get right the first time if their life depended on it. At Myrtle beach the CW on 501 seems a lot better than the one on 544.

Excellent, be here tommorow morning and we can get started on it. What kind of beer should I get?
Unfortunately I don't have the program on my laptop to reprogram the KVH dome nor do I have the special cord to connect my laptop to the switch. If you happen to have the program or know where I could get it then I am all ears.

I've read some of the problems some people have had with CW but I have never been able to replicate them. There service prices do seem to be high but when you need an oil change on the road, you can find someone at CW who knows how to do it and has the right tools. I watch for stuff that I need to go on sale and then use the presidents club number to get an additional discount for big items. Never had a problem. I like their stores and I have also used their internet catalog to buy stuff. The only problem I have is that I can't figure out how to buy windshield wiper blades for a MH that is not listed on their drop down menu. But that's just me. Your experience may vary.

Reprogram is the cheapest.
But it will never be able to get the DirecTV KA HD or 3D programs.
Once you have HD it's like going from a gas MH to a DP.
Going from a non slide out MH to a slide out MH.
Going from hamburger to Filet mignon.

This is not my home:
Fortunately for me I know about HD TV. Unfortunately for me if I were to upgrade to Winegard as you say it would entail more than just an upgrade of the dome. See I would also have to buy 3 HD TV's to replace the non HD TV's. I'd also have to invest in an HD IRD from DirectTV. So I am most certain the overall cost to upgrade to HD would be well over 3K.
I suppose there is no hurry for me to go out and get that beer now.

What does the cheat sheet entail? From all that I have read it requires a laptop with a program to get it changed over.
