Camping World Insurance

At a recent visit to CW, I got a quote for Insurance for my coach and toad. Significantly lower than my current policy.

Has anyone had experience with CW if you have had the misfortune to have a claim?

If you have CW are you happy?

I am looking at AAA as well to see if I can lower my costs.

Thanks in advance

No experience, but I do have a suggestion for comparison. Visit the Escapees website and check with the RV insurance companies listed there. GS insurance is actually GMAC insurance.

We had Good Sam (GMAC) insurance on the vehicles for a few years - they wouldn't insure our "bricks and sticks" home or my motorcycle. Never had to file a claim, so I can't speak to that, but we left when our rates doubled a couple of years ago with no tickets and no claims.

Caveat emptor!

Who is the actual insurer? CW is just a sales agent - its the company behind the policy you have to deal with.

Yes it is GMAC. I have asked questions on other forums as well. I am getting many favorable replies about GMAC. I am going to change to them next week. Thanks everyone for your help
