Camping World Sale???
Hey Everyone,
Hoping someone might know the answer to this.
I seem to recall that CW had a sale, last Spring, on Awnings. Does anyone know if this is an annual thing and if so, what's the normal sale and when it starts?
I am getting an awning and break controller and wanted to wait until the sale but need them before I took out the TT this year.
Thanks for any response!!

I haven't been able to detect a pattern in CW's sales except for the one where I buy something and it goes on sale the next week .
Seems like they will put many of the same items on sale at least once a year. If what you need isn't urgent, just sit back and wait. I might add that there are other sources that may give you a better price than CW, including local RV places with good parts and service departments. Vendors at RV shows will also give 'special pricing' during shows. Just know your prices ahead of time.

They have sales all the time, but the content seems unpredictable to me. I can usually find the item I want elsewhere anyway, at a price equal or lower than the CW Prez Club price.

You might want to compare CW's price to RV Upgrades price, you may be pleased. RV Upgrades is one of iRV2's advertisers and supporters, and is owned by our founder.

Wejust received a 10% coupon via email. There were no restrictions. You may want to call themto confirm awnings are included.

If I want to know when something is going to be on sale, I just ask.. If the sales people know, they'll tell you!

Thank you all for your response. I need to purchase & have it installed, as I can not do it. I already had a controller installed, on one vehicle, here in town and I found out that I paid double for it than I would have at CW.

Sheila,
If you are looking to have CW install something for you, here's another thread you should read, if you haven't already: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/deali...rld-60042.html

Hi Dave,
Thank you, yes I had but I have never had any trouble at the CW in the Gorge and I was recommended to them by a friend who has done business with the local CW's for many years and never a problem. However, every location is different, even if they all have the same name on the door.

We have used Camping World since 1977; mainly because they were much cheaper then than our local source (and there was no internet then for surfing and comparison shopping). I have found that the sales tend to be short lived. If you get a mailer with sale items, sometime by the time you call, the "sale" is over.
Currently, our local RV dealer has competitive accessory / part prices and I use them for all service.
