Collection agencies are rather relentless. Let's hope they back down with the FTC behind you.

Whats more important, your credit rating, or a few bucks in your pocket? I understand the principal of the whole ordeal and I agree with you. I think your sanity is worth more than a few bucks too.

Spoken eggzackery like the credit card companies want you to think. If we all started acting like we had something dangling between our legs the basket cases at corporate headquarters wouldn't be apt to screw us every opportunity.

We are starting to become Sheeple.

Call the credit card company; deny any charges from them and forget it; sounds like a big deal about nothing to me. Bills in the mail? round file them; telephone calls? hang up. Gee--- whats so hard about that?

You may think that your credit score isn't important because you don't use credit. Some insurance companies are known to use your credit score when setting your premiums. It is also important to check your credit reports to see if someone else is using your identity.

I have had insurance with Nationwide for over 30 years. I just paid the insurance on the house today. It was high but it always seems high. I get higher rates because I live in a hurricane zone. If I was four miles up the road I would get cheaper rates.

I have not had a call since contacting the FTC and telling XM Radio that I had. What they are doing is not right, by now telling me what the charges are for. I can guess what had happen but not seen it in writing yet.

Saturday morning I am going from North Carolina to Florida. for a few months and promise I will not be worried about XM Radio . My big worry now is beating the snow that going to hit the east coast.

Yep, XM & the collection agency can just chill.

Have a safe trip. Just take it easy & watch out for the "crazies" out there.

We left Friday for Florida instead of Saturday, because there was a chance of snow heading our way. We are now in St. Augustine, Fla. and heading down to Flager Beach. After few day at Flager weare heading to Crystal River , were we will spend a month. After that we heading to Mississippi for a few days before heading back. I sure hope the weather is better when we get back.
