Nice!

They do make medium screw (Edison) base light bulbs in both 12vdc and 120vac types. You won't find the 12vdc versions in Walmart or even Home Depot, but they are available and they were fairly common in RVs back in 70's-80's and even very early 90's.

They even make led-versions of the classic screw-base bulb now!

While we are on the subject of lights and switches I have a question that I hope is not hijacking this thread. The incandescent bulb in our Dometic 2652 fridge burned out so I thought I would replace it with an LED since all our TT’s lighting is LED. The bulb is the type with kind of pointy metal ends. So far I bought and tried three different 12vdc LED lamps and none will shine brightly. Only a little soft glow. One even came packaged with a 12 vdc battery and switch built into the packaging so I knew it works. But not in our fridge. I’ve checked the voltage across the socket and it is 12 volts plus. Anyone have any idea why they won’t work in our fridge?

That's interesting... I had never seen these before, and then today, I found a light with a door switch in our linen closet, and it was one of these "festoon" bulbs... I just ordered a pack of LED versions to put in there... I hope they work.
