Thanks Lyle. LOL I enjoyed Yuma when I was stationed there. Used to play golf out at Mesa Del Sol and a few other places. Overall I had a good time there for 6 years.

I live in Orange county. Just had the front door of my house replaced.
Had to pay the city of Yorba Linda $300.00 for a permit.
The answer here is simply it's Ca.

Saw propane for $ 1.69 gal Superfuels in Yuma today.
Beerman, Lots of jarheads and snowbirds in Yuma still. Busy this time of year with both. Not so bad, real heavy traffic for about 6 weeks right now. Early March everyone has their Mexican prescriptions, glasses and shiny new teeth and start migrating north again.

Right now in Yuma AZ (2/15/2013) propane at Cactus Propane is $1.79.
Delivered to site is $2.89.

I was told by Suburban Propane it was the cost of transportation. A propane tanker hauls 5000 gallons , so that trucker gets $6800.00 to haul a load from Yuma to Lancaster, 250miles. Yea Right. Where do I sign up to haul their fuel? Oh yea the fuel comes in by train, that is cheaper yet. Also there is very little state tax. Just price gouging.

Monetary easing. Meaning, inflation. The dollar is being devalued. Read the creature from Jeckyl Island. I think much worse is coming.

The same reason gas is over $4.00 a gallon; It"s because they can; you will get charged whatever they can get. They don't neen any reason.

It sure isn't a lack of supply. I can count 50 new wells in a ten mile area in the last two years.

I just paid $3.29 gallon. I last bought it back in July 2012 for $1.97. Wish I had a bigger tank. This price fluctuation in our fuel is just STUPID.
